As expected, in the dressage phase, Australia and Germany dominated with both countries getting 3 riders under 40 penalties. 15 riders are featured. In the cross country and show jumping phases, Germany took the lead and was the winner of the Olympic Gold medal, with Australia taking Silver and Great Britain taking the team Bronze.
