The Author
A freelance writer and journalist, Johanna has ridden from an early age and is a regular contributor to the national press and consumer magazines including Horse, Your Horse and Horse & Hound. She is co-author of several best selling equestrian books including From Birth to Backing (David & Charles, 1998), Horselopaedia (Ringpress, 1999) and Unlock your Horse's Talent (David & Charles, 2003); contributor to Ultimate Horse Care: The Complete Veterinary Guide (Ringpress, 2000) and editor of Maximise your Horsemanship (David & Charles, 2006).
Johanna has worked with classical training methods for over ten years and has two horses capable or doing movements up to Grand Prix level.
